One Look Operation

You have a choice of a full screen or main and side screens. The dual-screen mode gives you two clear views with one look and is fully customisable, so you select what you want to see. You can also switch the two screens at any time depending on the driving situation, for example, whether you want the map on the main screen, side screen, or not at all.

Choose What You Want to See on Each Screen

After you decide what you want on the main screen, you have numerous choices for the side screen. Designed for Maximum iPod and iPhone Enjoyment

In addition to enjoying your favourite music and podcasts, you can watch iPod and iPhone videos. Song selection and playback control are quick and easy, and you get all the track information plus a view of the album cover on your choice of full screen, main screen or side screen.

Radio Display Shows Station Names

You also get one look radio convenience. When you put the radio display on the main screen, you see the name of the station that’s tuned in and the names of the preset stations, in addition to the frequencies. This makes selecting stations much easier, not only for you, but for other family members who may use the car.

Ultra-High Speed Route Calculation

You’ll appreciate how quickly the navigation screen comes up after you power on the unit. Start-up is much quicker than other systems and route calculation is ultra fast: for example, for a 1600km route, calculation is done in only 6 seconds, as opposed to the common one minute for competitors.

Advanced TMC Mode

Advanced TMC is a great time saver! It keeps you abreast of road delays and shows you how to avoid them. With one look you see your current route in red and an alternate route in green, plus the difference in time and distance. Just press OK to choose the new route.

Personal POI Importing

If you have set personal POIs on Google Maps, etc., you can download them to a USB stick and import them. You can also download desired POIs (favourite petrol stations, coffee shops, etc.) from POI websites.

Consistently High Accuracy

Alpine uses both a gyro sensor and a speed pulse feed to ensure accurate positioning at all times. Even with temporary loss of the GPS signal, such as in tunnels or near many high buildings, the system maintains its high accuracy.

Built-in Bluetooth Module

The built-in Bluetooth Module lets you safely handle phone calls without having to hold the phone. It is compatible with most of the latest Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones, such as Apple iPhone 3GS, Nokia N97 and N95 8G, HTC Hero and Touch Diamond, Samsung S8000 Jet, and Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1.

Convenient Display on Side Screen

When you receive a call, a special Bluetooth window automatically comes up on the side screen, with the caller’s name and buttons for you to accept or decline the call. The side screen does not overlap the navigation map or anything on the main screen as with other systems.

Rear Camera with Distance Guide

Driving is both safer and easier thanks to support for Alpine’s Driver Assist rear camera, which lets you check the view when parking or doing any type of difficult manoeuvring. For even greater convenience, coloured pylons (green, yellow and red) are superimposed on the screen to let you know how close you are to walls and other objects. You can adjust each pylon to match your car.

Front AUX Port for Audio and Video

An AUX port on the front panel lets you plug in a portable media player to hear the music and watch the videos that you have stored on it. 1. Remove the cover from the Front AUX Input Terminal.
2. Connect a portable music player, etc., by using an optional adapter cable.

Perfect Vehicle Integration

Alpine offers car-specific solutions for perfect integration of the ONE LOOK NAVI system into various vehicles. For best mechanical integration, the hardware fits perfectly into the differently sized and shaped dashboards of various manufacturers. System integration is also optimised, as the unit can be operated from existing vehicle steering wheel remote controls and can be connected to selected vehicle information displays to see iPod playback information, caller ID/phone number, and so on.
